JUDGMENT
1. Petitioner is the widow of one Sreekumar, who died in a motor vehicle accident. Petitioner, along with her minor son and mother, has approached the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Mavelikkara for compensation, by O.P.(MV)No.1170 of 2013. Petitioner sought for expeditious consideration of compensation claim by Ext.P1 application.
2. It may not be proper for this Court to direct expeditious consideration within a time stipulated by this Court. However, the Tribunal should take into account the pendency of the case as also the pendency of the like cases, where the claimants seek
O.P.(MAC)No.13 of 2015 -:2:- compensation of the death of their family's only bread winner. Hence, on a judicious consideration of the above facts, the Tribunal shall take up the matter, if need be, out of turn and endeavour to dispose it off, expeditiously.
Writ petition is disposed off.
K. Vinod Chandran, Judge.
