JUDGMENT

The grievance in this petition is that pending consideration of the delay condonation petition filed by the petitioner to set aside the ex-parte order passed against him in O.P.(MV) 270 of 2007, revenue recovery proceedings have been initiated against him for the recovery of the amount awarded by the Tribunal.

2. In pursuance to the interim order passed by this Court, the petitioner has paid Rs.50,000/-. The prayer in this petition is a limited one. All that the petitioner wants is that the revenue recovery proceedings may be kept pending till the delay condonation petition and the petition to set aside the ex-parte order are considered on merits and disposed of. The request seems to be just and reasonable.

O.P.(MAC).22/2015.

This Petition is disposed of directing that revenue recovery proceedings shall be kept in abeyance till the petition to condone the delay and also the petition to set aside the ex-parte order are disposed of by the Tribunal concerned. The Tribunal shall dispose of those petitions within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Send a copy of this judgment to the Tribunal concerned.
