JUDGMENT
Claimant in O.P.(M.V.) No.88 of 2015 on the files of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Thalassery is the petitioner. His grievance is that as of right he is entitled for a free copy of the award passed by the Tribunal. As per Order dated 10.07.2015, this Court has sought a report from the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Thalassery and in the report received by this Court, it is stated that the claim application was disposed of as early as on 18.02.2014 and the copy application was submitted by an Advocate who was not holding vakalath for the petitioner claimant and therefore, the application was rejected.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.
3. Any how, the short request of the petitioner in this original petition is to provide him with a free copy as entitled by him as of right. From the report, I do not find that free copy was
O.P.(M.A.C). No.88 of 2015 supplied to the petitioner claimant. Therefore, there will be a direction to the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Thalassery to provide a free copy to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
