The prayer in this original petition is to direct the Rent Control Appellate Authority, Thalassery, to expedite the disposal of R.C.A.No.167/2013. When the original petition came for consideration on 15.1.2015, this Court called for a report on the status of the R.C.A. mentioned above. Accordingly, the report has been submitted by the District Judge, Thalassery, vide letter dated 19.1.2015, which shows that the appeal now stands posted for a lower court records to 19.2.2015. If the records are received, there is no reason not to expedite the disposal of the appeal. Therefore, we direct the Rent Control Appellate Authority, (Additional District Court-IV) Thalassery, shall expedite the disposal of R.C.A.No. 167/2013. The petitioner may produce copy of this order before the Rent Control Appellate Authority for information and compliance.
