The landlord in R.C.P.No.77/2014 on the file of the Rent Control Court, Kannur is the petitioner. His prayer is to direct the Rent Control Court, Kannur to expedite the trial of the R.C.P and dispose of the same on an early date. 2.

Considering the fact that the Rent Control Petition was instituted only in the year 2014, we are not inclined to issue any direction to the Rent Control Court as sought for. However, we give liberty to the petitioner to appraise the trial court itself the urgency and to seek appropriate relief. With the above observation, the O.P(RC) is disposed of.
