The petitioner who is the first petitioner in OP(BRC) No.5 of 2014 of the Rent Control Court, Punalur seeks the issue of appropriate directions for an early disposal of her case. According to the petitioner, she is the owner of shop room No.X/581. She has terminated the tenancy arrangement on 10.05.2014. She is aged 79 years, is a senior citizen and is pulling on in life with the help of the second petitioner who is her son. Considering her advancing age, she seeks the issue of a direction to dispose of the case on an early date. We had called for a report from the Rent Control Court regarding the stage at which the Rent Control Petition had reached. Accordingly, we have been informed that the matter stands posted to 19.06.2015 for framing the points of dispute. The counsel
-:2:- O.P.(R.C) No.53 of 2015 for the petitioner submits that the objections have already been filed. Therefore, what remains is only listing of the case for trial and completing the evidence. The said process could be completed within a period of six months. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of directing the Rent Control Court, Punalur, to finally dispose of OP(BRC) No.5 of 2014, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
