JUDGMENT

Surendra Mohan, J.

This original petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the Rent Control Court, Thiruvananthapuram for finally disposing of RCP 47/2010 that is pending before the said authority. As per order dated 4.6.2015, we had called for a report from the Rent Control Court, Thiruvananthapuram regarding the time required for finally disposing of the Rent Control Petition. The Rent Controller has on 11.6.2015 reported that the records of the Rent Control Petition had been sent to the Appellate Authority for the purpose of RCA 32/2014 and that the records have not yet been received back. The Rent Controller has reported that RCP 47/2010 could be finally disposed of within a period of

OP(RC)68/2015 three months of the date of receipt of the records from the Rent Control Appellate Authority.

In view of the above this original petition is disposed of directing the Rent Control Court, Thiruvananthapuram to finally dispose of RCP 47/2010, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months of the date of receipt of the records of the said case from the Rent Control Appellate Authority, Thiruvananthapuram.
