The petitioner is the landlord in R.C.P.No.6 of 2009 on the file of the Rent Control Court, Mananthavady, a petition filed by her for an order of eviction under section 11(3) of the Kerala Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, 1965, hereinafter referred to as "the Act" for short. The rent control court dismissed the petition by order passed on 14.12.2010. The landlord unsuccessfully appealed against the said order by filing R.C.A.No.3 of 2011, which was dismissed by order passed on 9.6.2014. Hence this revision petition. The landlord has now filed a memo dated 12.12.2015 to the effect that after the revision petition was filed, the respondent/tenant has surrendered possession of the building to her on 22.10.2015. In the light of the aforesaid development, we are of the opinion that no further orders are called for in this revision petition. It is accordingly closed as not pressed.
