ORDER

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure to have O.P. 1446 of 2012 pending before Family Court, Thrissur transferred to Family Court, Palakkad.

2. Suffice to say, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and litigations began. The respondent filed O.P. 1446 of 2012 before Family Court, Thrissur.

3. The petitioner says that she is a resident of Palakkad District and she finds it extremely difficult to go over to Thrissur to attend the court on all posting dates. The petitioner also says that there is nobody to accompany her to Thrissur and she is not financially sound. Under

these circumstances, she prays for a transfer of the case to Family Court, Palakkad.

4. The respondent entered appearance and opposed the prayer.

5. In the light of the state of affairs in which the petitioner is placed, it is felt that the request made is just and reasonable.

For the above reason, this petition is allowed and O.P. 1446 of 2012 pending before Family Court, Thrissur shall stand transferred to Family Court, Palakkad. P. BHAVADASAN, JUDGE sb.
