Today, when the appeal and the writ petition came up for consideration, learned Government Pleader appearing for the appellants in the writ appeal and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in the writ petition submitted that on account of the subsequent developments, both the appeal and the writ petition have become infructuous.
