JUDGMENT
Antony Dominic, J.
These appeals are filed by respondents 1 and 2 in Writ Petition Nos.11836 and 15114 of 2012. In the impugned judgment, the learned Single Judge directed that unless and until the terminal benefits due to the writ petitioners are disbursed, the Secretary of the Municipality, Councilors and the Director of Urban Affairs shall not draw any salary or any other emoluments. It is this judgment, which is challenged in these appeals.
2. When these appeals came up for consideration before this Court, this Court had stayed the direction of the learned Single Judge preventing the Secretary, Councilors and the Director from drawing their salary and other emoluments.
3. Today when the appeal was taken up, learned counsel appearing for the appellants stated that during the pendency of the appeal, the terminal benefits due the writ petitioners, the first respondents herein, have been disbursed in full.
Writ Appeal Nos.1473 & 1483 of 2012 : 2 :
4. Now that the writ petitioners have received the terminal benefits and as the objectionable direction of the learned Single Judge did not come into effect, nothing survives to be considered in these appeals.
Appeals are accordingly closed.
