ORDER

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of O.P.No. 1916 of 2014 pending before the Family Court, Thrissur to Family Court, Pathanamthitta.

Suffice to say that the marital relationship between the petitioner and the first respondent became bitter and litigations sprouted. Both did not lag behind. The petitioner instituted various proceedings before Family Court, Pathanamthitta and respondent instituted proceedings before Family Court, Thrissur.

The petitioner points out that she is a resident of Pathanamthitta District and she finds it difficult to go over to Thrissur to attend the court on all posting dates. Further, it is pointed out that she is not financially

sound and there is nobody to accompany her. It is also pointed out that by the transfer of the case, no particular prejudice will be caused to the first respondent as he has to appear before Family Court, Pathanamthitta in the cases initiated by the petitioner.

4. The respondents were served with notice, but there is no appearance.

In view of the absence of any objection, this petition is allowed and O.P. 1916 2014 pending before the Family Court, Thrissur shall stand transferred to the Family Court, Pathanamthitta.
