O R D E R

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P.No.1194/2014 pending before Family Court, Mavelikkara transferred to Family Court, Kottarakkara.

2. Suffice to say that, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and litigations began. The petitioner instituted M.C.No.1/2015 before the Family Court, Kottarakkara for maintenance and the respondent instituted O.P.No.1194/2014 before Family Court, Mavelikkara.

3. The petitioner points out that she is a permanent resident of Kollam and she finds it extremely difficult to come over to Mavelikkara to attend the case. She therefore prays that the matter pending before Family Court, Mavelikkara may be transferred to Family Court, Kottarakkara.

T.P.(C) No.71/2015

4. Though notice was served on the respondent, there is no appearance for him.

Since there is no objection on the part of the respondent, this petition is allowed and O.P.No.1194/2014 pending before Family Court, Mavelikkara shall stand transferred to Family Court, Kottarakkara.
