O R D E R

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P.No.996/2014 pending before Family Court, Kottayam at Ettumanoor transferred to Family Court, Manjeri at Malappuram District.

2. The marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and litigations began. The respondent is alleged to have instituted O.P.No.996/2014 seeking divorce.

3. The petitioner points out that she is a permanent resident of Malappuram and she finds it extremely difficult to come over to Ettumanoor to attend the case and that she is not financially sound and also that she has a minor child to look after. She also says that there is nobody to accompany her to go to Family Court, Ettumanoor. In the interest of justice, she prays for transfer.

4. Though notice was served on the respondent, there is no appearance for him.

Since there is no objection from the side of the respondent, this petition is allowed and O.P.No.996/2014 pending before Family Court, Kottayam at Ettumanoor shall stand transferred to Family Court, Manjeri at Malappuram District. Sd/- P.BHAVADASAN JUDGE smp // True Copy // P.A. to Judge.
