JUDGMENT

The main issue raised in this writ petition is as to the validity of Exts.P1 and P2 notifications, by which the Central Government declared 'packaged drinking water' as food for the purpose of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition has become infructuous and the same may be dismissed as infructuous.

Recording the abovesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
