~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petitioner seeks the transfer of O.P.(HMA) No.490/2014 pending before the Family Court, Nedumangad seeking dissolution of marriage, to the Family Court, Kottayam at Ettumanoor. According to the petitioner, she is residing within the jurisdiction of the Family Court, Ettumanoor, along with her parents, who are aged 80 and

71. She cannot travel all the way from Kottayam to Nedumangad to attend the case. Earlier, she had filed O.P.1232/2010 seeking her gold ornaments, money, etc. before the Family Court, Ettumanoor. The same was decreed. It was immediately after the disposal of the said OP, the present OP has been filed.

The respondent has no objection. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the

Tr.P.C.219/2015 : 2 :

respondent.

Much discussion is not required to conclude that it is just and convenient in the interest of justice to transfer O.P.(HMA) No.490/2014 pending before the Family Court, Nedumangad to the Family Court, Ettumanoor.

In the result, this Tr.P.(C) is allowed and O.P.(HMA) No.490/2014 pending before the Family Court, Nedumangad is ordered to be transferred to the Family Court, Ettumanoor. The court below is directed to dispose of the OP, as expeditiously as possible.
