O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

2. The petitioner wife seeks for the transfer of O.P.No.257 of 2015 of the Family Court, Irinjalakkuda, to the Family Court, Palakkad. The said O.P. is one filed by the respondent husband against the petitioner wife, for divorce. The petitioner had filed M.C.No.75 of 2015 before the Family Court, Palakkad seeking maintenance from the respondent. Further, she had filed O.P.No.281 of 2015 before the Family Court, Palakkad for the return of gold ornaments, money etc. Proceedings launched by her under

Tr.P.(C)No.270 of 2015 the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, also are pending before the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court-III, Palakkad. The petitioner is residing within the jurisdiction of the Family Court, Palakkad.

3. Notice has been served on the respondent. There is no representation for the respondent. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. On hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is satisfied that it is just and convenient in the interest of justice to effect the transfer as prayed for. In the result, this Transfer Petition (Civil) is allowed and O.P.No.257 of 2015 of the Family Court, Irinjalakkuda is transferred to the Family Court, Palakkad.
