O R D E R

Petitioner wife seeks the transfer of O.P.(HMA)No.1259 of 2013 pending before the Family Court, Kollam, to the Family Court, Mavelikkara.

2. The said Original Petition was filed by the petitioner against the respondent seeking divorce. According to the petitioner, parties were residing at Kollam. While so, the respondent departed them and went his house. The petitioner continued at the residence at Kollam, during which time, she filed the Original Petition. Thereafter, she was forced to go back to her family house situated within the jurisdiction of the Family Court, Mavelikkara.

3. Notice has been served on the respondent. There is no representation for the respondent. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. On hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is satisfied that it is just and convenient in the interest of justice to effect the transfer as prayed for. In the result, this Transfer Petition (Civil) is allowed and O.P.(HMA)No.1259 of 2013 pending before the Family Court, Kollam is transferred to the Family Court, Mavelikkara.
