Ramachandran Nair, J.

The Special Commissioner, Sabarimala has filed S.M.No.48/2014 pointing out the direction issued by this Court in W.P.(C) No.2508/2011, so as to provide sufficient number of ASKA lights by the Police and Fire Service in Pullumedu, Parunthanpara and Panchalimedu.

2. A statement has been filed on 6.1.2015 by the learned Senior Government Pleader. Therein, it has been stated that the Government have already issued directions to the State Police Chief to install the required number of ASKA lights for Idukki District in connection with the festival 2015, by requisitioning from all available sources like Disaster Management Department, District Collectors and Fire and Rescue Department. It is also assured that safety measures will be provided with adequate facilities to view Makaravilakku Darsan and to

SSCR 13/2014 ensure proper lighting in forest areas and sufficient number of ASKA lights will be installed.

3. Shri Manilal, learned Senior Government Pleader submitted based on the communication of the District Police Chief, Idukki dated 5.1.2015 that 122 numbers of ASKA lights are available for installation and 15 points have been identified and the chart given in the said communication shows the following:
