Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

In view of the amendment to the provisions of the Negotiable Instruments Act, the matter has to be dealt with by the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court, Kothamangalam. It was in view of the judgment of the Apex Court which was rendered prior to the amendment, the case was returned by the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court, Kothamangalam and thereafter it was presented before the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court, Thodoupuzha. In the result, this Tr.P.(Crl) is allowed, and the case is

Tr.P.(Crl) 67 of 2015 -: 2 :- transferred from the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court, Thodupuzha to the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court, Kothamangalam. The parties shall appear before the Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court, Kothamangalam on 01.10.2015.
