JUDGMENT
Ashok Bhushan, Ag.C.J.
Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned Government Pleader. This appeal has been filed against the judgment dated 14.01.2015 in W.P.(C) No.1337 of 2015.
2. The petitioner participated in the District Youth Festival in the item 'Kuchupudi' and got A grade. Petitioner filed the writ petition praying for a direction for quashing the decision of the first respondent that the petitioner is not eligible for the higher level competition and further to dispose of the appeal evidenced by Ext.P2.
3. Learned Single Judge dismissed the writ petition observing that the person who got first prize has 256 marks and petitioner got only 221 marks. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after the decision of the learned Single Judge the appeal has already been decided and it has been communicated. We are of the view that the authorities who
WA No. 116 of 2015 -:2:- took a decision in the appeal are competent to take such decision and valid reasons have been given by learned Single Judge to deny the prayer of the petitioner.
We do not find any any merit in the appeal. Hence the appeal is dismissed.
Ashok Bhushan, Acting Chief Justice.
A.M. Shaffique, Judge.
