ORDER

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of O.P. 876 of 2013 from Family Court, Nedumangad to Family Court, Attingal.

2. Suffice to say, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and litigations began. O.P. 876 of 2013 was filed by the respondent for divorce before Family Court, Nedumangad. The petitioner points out that she finds it extremely difficult to go over to Nedumangad to attend the case on all posting dates. It is also pointed out that there is nobody to accompany her and she is in financial difficulties. Therefore, she prays for a transfer of the case to Family Court, Attingal.

3. Respondent entered appearance and pointed out that he has no objection in transferring the petition to

Tr.P.(C).410/2014.

Family Court, Attingal, but prays that there may be a direction to the Family Court, Attingal to expedite the trial of the case.

In the light of the submission of the learned counsel for the respondent, this petition is allowed and O.P. 876 of 2013 pending before the Family Court, Nedumangad shall stand transferred to Family Court, Attingal. Parties shall appear before Family Court, Attingal on 20.02.2015. Family Court, Attingal shall make every endeavour to dispose of the Original Petition as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of four months from the date of appearance of the parties.
