O R D E R
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petitioner wife seeks the transfer of O.P.No.645/2014 of the Family Court, Kannur to the Family Court, Mavelikkara. The said OP was filed by the respondent husband seeking restitution of conjugal rights. The petitioner is residing within the jurisdiction of the Family Court, Mavelikkara. According to the petitioner, because of the political clout of the respondent, it may not be possible her to go over to Kannur and to pursue her remedies before the Family Court, Kannur. Moreover, she finds it difficult to travel all the way from Mavelikkara to Kannur for appearing in the case.

Notice has been served on the respondent and there is no representation for the respondent. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

On hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is satisfied that it is just and convenient in the interest of justice to transfer O.P.No.645/2014 of the Family Court, Kannur to the Family Court, Mavelikkara. In the result, this Tr.P.(C) is allowed and O.P.No.645/2014 of the Family Court, Kannur is ordered to be transferred to the Family Court, Mavelikkara.
