O R D E R

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of O.P.(Divorce) No.464/2014 pending before Family Court, Mavelikkara to Family Court, Pathanamthitta.

2. Suffice to say that, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the 1st respondent became estranged and that gave rise to litigations between them. The 1st respondent instituted O.P (Divorce) No.464/2014 before Family Court, Mavelikkara.

3. The petitioner says that she is a resident at Pathanamthitta and she finds it extremely difficult to come over to Mavelikkara to attend the case. She also says that there is nobody to accompany her and that she is having financial difficulties.

4. Even though notice has been served on the respondents, there is no appearance on behalf of the respondents. Since there is no appearance on behalf of the respondents, this petition is allowed and O.P (Divorce) No.464/2014 pending before Family Court, Mavelikkara shall stand transferred to Family Court, Pathanamthitta. The parties shall appear before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta on 19.02.2015.
