O R D E R

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the C.P.C. seeking to have O.P.No.171/2014 pending before the Family Court, Mavelikkara transferred to Family Court, Alappuzha. 2.

Suffice to say that the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and litigations began. The respondent is alleged to have instituted O.P.(Div.)No. 171/2014 before the Family Court, Mavelikkara.

The petitioner says that she finds it extremely difficult to travel to Mavelikkara to attend the routine posting of the case. She also points out that she is not financially sound and she has nobody to accompany her and therefore she prays that the matter may be transferred to Alappuzha.

Tr.P.(C) No. 558 of 2014 -24.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent opposed the petition.

Taking note of the various aspects, it is felt that the prayer made is just and proper. Therefore, this petition is allowed and O.P.No.171/2014 pending before the Family Court, Mavelikkara shall stand transferred to Family Court, Alappuzha.
