ORDER

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P. (HMA) 663 of 2014 pending before Family Court, Chavara transferred to Family Court, Mavelikkara.

2. Suffice to say, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and litigations began. The respondent has instituted O.P. (HMA) 663 of 2014 before Family Court, Chavara seeking divorce. The petitioner points out that she is a resident of Alappuzha and she finds it extremely difficult to go over to Chavara to attend the court on all posting dates. It is also pointed out that there is nobody to accompany her and she has financial difficulties also. Therefore, she prays for a transfer of the case to Family Court, Mavelikkara.

3. After having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent, it is felt that there is some justification in the prayer for transfer made by the petitioner.

Hence, this petition is allowed and O.P. (HMA) 663 of 2014 pending before Family Court, Chavara shall stand transferred to Family Court, Mavelikkara. The parties shall appear before Family Court, Mavelikkara on 27.2.2015. P. BHAVADASAN, sb.
