O R D E R

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P.No.556/2014 pending before the Family Court, Palakkad transferred to Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram.

2. The marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became extremely bitter and that gave rise to several litigations. On going through the petition, it is understood that two petitions namely, O.P.1253/2014 and O.P.(HMA) No.1255/2014 are pending before the Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram and the O.P filed by the respondent is pending before the Family Court, Palakkad.

3. The petitioner points out that she is a resident at Thiruvananthapuram and she finds it extremely difficult to go over to Palakkad to attend the case. Further, it is pointed out that as two petitions are pending before Family Court,

T.P.(C) No.663/2014 Thiruvananthapuram, it is only proper that the petition filed by the respondent before Family Court, Palakkad is also heard by the same court so as to avoid conflict of decisions.

4. Notice was served on the respondent. There is no appearance for him.

Since there is no objection raised by the respondent in the plea for transfer, this petition is allowed and O.P.No.556/2014 pending before Family Court, Palakkad shall stand transferred to Family Court, Thiruvananthapuram.
