ORDER

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of O.P. No. 143 of 2013 from Family Court, Kannur to Family Court, Kattappana.

2. As is usual in similar type of cases, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and proceedings have been initiated by the respondent for declaring the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent null and void. The respondent has instituted the proceedings before Family Court, Kannur.

3. Petitioner would say that she is a resident of Idukki District and she finds it difficult to go over to Kannur to attend the court on all posting dates. It is also pointed

out that there is nobody to accompany her and she is not financially very sound. Therefore, she prays for a transfer of the case to Family Court, Kattappana.

4. Even though notice was served on the respondent, there is no appearance.

Since there is no objection, this petition is allowed and O.P. 143 of 2013 pending before Family Court, Kannur shall stand transferred to Family Court, Kattappana. Parties shall appear before Family court, Kattappana on 2.3.2015.
