O R D E R

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the C.P.C. seeking to have O.P.No. 557/2014 pending before the Family Court, Ottapalam transferred to Family Court, Palakkad. 2.

Suffice to say that the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and litigations began. They have a child in the wedlock. The respondent has instituted O.P.No. 557/2014 before Family Court, Ottapalam seeking divorce. 3.

The petitioner says that she is a permanent resident of Palakkad and she finds it difficult to go to Ottapalam to attend the case on every posting date. Moreover, she is financially not sound and she has to look after her child. Under such circumstances, she prays for a transfer.

Tr.P.(C) No. 678 of 2014 -24.

Though respondent was served with notice, he has not entered appearance.

Since no objection is seen filed by the respondent, this petition is allowed and O.P.No. 557/2014 pending before the Family Court, Ottapalam shall stand transferred to Family Court, Palakkad.
