ORDER
This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure to have O.P.(HMA) 1057 of 2014 pending before Family Court, Nedumangad transferred to Family Court, Attingal.
2. Suffice to say, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and that gave rise to litigations. The petitioner makes mention of various articles given at the time of marriage and the petitioner filed O.P.1124 of 2014 before Family Court, Attingal for return of the article. According to the petitioner, as a retaliatory measure, the respondent instituted O.P.(HMA) 1057 of 2014 before Family Court, Nedumangad for dissolution of marriage.
3. The petitioner points out that she is a resident of Attingal and she finds it extremely difficult to go over to
Tr.P.(C).684/2014.
Nedumangad to attend the court on all posting dates. It is also pointed out that she is not financially very sound and there is nobody to accompany her to Nedumangad. Since the petition filed by the petitioner is pending before Family Court, Attingal, she prays that it is only appropriate that the same court considers and disposes of both the matters.
4. Though the respondent has been served with notice, there is no appearance on his behalf. Since there is no objection to the prayer for transfer, this petition is allowed and O.P. (HMA) 1057 of 2014 pending before Family Court, Nedumangad shall stand transferred to Family Court, Attingal.
