O R D E R

This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P.No.1208/2014 pending before Family Court, Attingal transferred to Family Court, Kottarakkara.

2. Suffice to say that, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and proceedings were initiated by both of them in two different Family Courts. The petitioner instituted O.P.No.1271/2014 before Family Court, Kottarakkara while the respondent chose Family Court, Attingal to file O.P.No.1208/2014.

3. The petitioner points out that it is only proper and just that both the petitions be heard by the same court. She also points out that it is difficult for her to go to Family Court, Attingal to attend the case and there is nobody to accompany her to go to Attingal and that she is financially unsound.

T.P.(C) No.712/2014

4. Though notice was served on the respondent, there is no appearance for him.

Since there is no appearance for the respondent, this petition is allowed and O.P.No.1208/2014 pending before Family Court, Attingal shall stand transferred to Family Court, Kottarakkara.
