J U D G M E N T

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned State Attorney.

No notice is being issued to the 5th respondent in view of the judgment being passed today. 2.

By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to respondents 1 to 4 to provide protection to the life and property of the petitioner and the members of her family from any assault, aggression or attack from the 5th respondent.

Petitioner's case is that several complaints have been filed against 5th respondent, but no action has been taken in the matter. Last of such complaint filed was mentioned in paragraph 6 of the writ petition. Learned State Attorney submits that a complaint was received on 06/01/2015 and a

crime has already been registered as crime No.25/2015 and the police is investigating the crime and appropriate action shall be taken, if required. The complaint which has been annexed in the writ petition dated 06/01/2015 is general in nature. We only observe that as and when any offence is committed or attempted, it shall be open for the petitioner to avail appropriate complaint before the 4th respondent who shall look into the said complaint and take appropriate action in accordance with the procedure prescribed under the Code of Criminal Procedure.

With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of.
