We have heard the learned counsel for the appellant and the learned Senior Government Pleader.

This writ appeal is against the judgment of the learned single Judge refusing to grant relief in exercise of writ jurisdiction in relation to an assessment year. The learned single Judge has relegated the appellant to statutory remedy by way of appeal. On the basis of the facts and circumstances of the case in hand, we do not find any ground to disagree with the learned single Judge. The writ appeal fails and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
