JUDGMENT

The writ petition is filed, inter alia, seeking directions to permit the petitioner to run a piggery in the limits of the 1st respondent Panchayat. Though the applications were rejected as early as in 2009, it is submitted by the petitioner that other units were being allowed to function. In any view of the matter since new rules have been promulgated and licence has been made mandatory, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition.
