JUDGMENT
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a writ of certiorari to quash Ext.P6 letter of the Deputy Director of Education, Kollam and seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the said respondent to allow Ext.P5 petition and change the petitioner's son Abdul Salim as the nominee for family pension payable on the death of the petitioner, instead of his wife Shereefa Beevi, who alleged to have deserted the petitioner. 2.
On 3.11.2014, notice was ordered in I.A.No.14664/2004 filed by the petitioner seeking an order to implead the aforesaid Shereefa Beevi and also the Secretary of the Kadamboor Muslim Jama Ath, as additional respondents 2 and 3. The notice issued to Shereefa Beevi returned with the endorsement 'addressee not known'. On 29.5.2015, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the case was posted to 2.6.2015. Thereafter the case was posted on 8.6.2015, on which date there was no representation for the petitioner and no steps have been taken to serve notice on the additional 2nd respondent sought to be impleaded.

Today when the case was taken up for further consideration, there was no representation for the petitioner and no steps have been
