The petitioner is the owner of a stage carriage, bearing Registration No.KL-04/U - 8377, who was granted temporary permit up to 01.01.2014 and had made an application for re-issue of the temporary permit for a period of four months, by Ext.P2. Though the said application has been made on 21.12.2013, it is submitted that no steps are taken and the temporary permit already obtained by the petitioner is expiring today.
The petitioner has preferred an application for regular permit on the route Pathippally - Thodupuzha, pending disposal of which temporary permits were issued, the last of which is valid till 1.1.2014. Hence, there shall be a direction to the respondent to issue temporary permit for four months as sought for in Ext.P2 within a week from the date of production of a copy of this judgment, by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P2. Writ petition is disposed of as above.
