The petitioner is the owner of a stage carriage, bearing Registration No.KL-05/P 7891, who was granted temporary permit up to 28.1.2014 and had made an application for re-issue of the temporary permit either for a period of four months or for 4 months, by Ext.P2. Though the said application has been made on 24.12.2013, it is submitted that no steps are taken and the temporary permit already obtained by the petitioner is expiring on 28.1.2014. In such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the respondent to re-issue the temporary permit as sought for in Ext.P2 for a period of four months, within a period of one week from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
