JUDGMENT

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondent, apart from perusing the record. Since the issue lies in a narrow compass, this Court proposes to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage itself.

2. Briefly stated, the petitioner, an association of businessmen, Adivad Junction of Ernakulam District, has filed the present writ petition complaining of traffic congestion and illegal parking in its area and also the inaction on the part of the respondents in that regard. Exhibit P1 contains the photographs which reflect the traffic condition, quintessential of any commercial area, crying for urgent remedial measures.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to my notice Exhibits P2 and P3 judgments rendered by this Court very recently at the behest of certain individuals on

W.P.(c) No. 483 of 2015 the same issue. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner has submitted Exhibits P4 and P5 representations before the respondent authorities, so far they have not initiated any action on those complaints.

4. In the light of the directions given in Exhibits P2 and P3 judgments by this Court, any further direction at this stage is only a reiteration of what has already been directed in those judgments.

5. At any rate, having regard to the respective submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondent, this Court, without adverting to the merits of the matter, disposes of the present writ petition with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider Exhibits P4 and P5 representations of the petitioner in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

With the above observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
