JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers :

1. Issue a writ of certiorari or other appropriate writs, order or direction to call for the records leading up to Exhibits P2 and quash the same.

2. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to permit the petitioner to participate in the State Level School Kalotsavam in the Katharasangham (HSS General (single) competition scheduled to be conducted at Kozhicode.

3. Such other orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

2. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that being aggrieved of the decision taken by the judging committee, whereby the petitioner was put on 3rd position with A Grade, an appeal was preferred before the appellate

committee. After considering the merit involved, the appeal preferred by the petitioner was allowed and accordingly the petitioner stands permitted to participate in the State Level Competition.

3. In the said circumstances no further orders are called for and the writ petition is disposed of, recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader as aforesaid.
