JUDGMENT

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader.

2. By this petition the petitioner has prayed for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to grant adequate police protection to the petitioner to protect her life from the threat unleashed by the 3rd respondent, her own husband.

3. Learned Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the complaint which has been annexed to the writ petition was dated 23.07.2014 and in pursuance of which police authorities have enquired the same and found that petitioner is living with 3rd respondent and they had reconciled. He submits that no further complaint has been received so far.

4. In the facts and circumstances of the case we are of the view that no further direction is necessary in the matter. We only observe that as and when any offence is committed or there is attempt to commit any offence, it is always open for

WP(C) No. 985 of 2015 -:2:- the petitioner to file a complaint before the Police which shall be looked into in accordance with law.
