JUDGMENT
The petitioner was a participant in 'Kuchippudi' competition held at the Thrissur District Level School Kalotsavam. According to the petitioner, though she performed well, after evaluation she was awarded only the 2nd prize, which according to the petitioner is not correct and hence an appeal was preferred, referring to belated starting of programme. It is also contended that the Judges were biased. The appeal came to be dismissed, as borne by Ext. P2, which in turn is under challenge in this writ petition.
2. The learned Government Pleader submits on instructions that, the contention raised by the petitioner with reference to the belated starting of the programme, if any, is applicable to all the participants. It is also pointed out that, the first prize winner obtained 282 marks, while the petitioner could obtain only 265 marks and as such, there is a substantial margin of 17 marks. It is stated that allegation of bias is totally wrong and unfounded and that

it was never substantiated. Despite the vague plea, no Judge has been impleaded in the personal capacity to meet the said plea of malafides.
3. After hearing both the sides, this Court finds that there is no tenable ground to call for interference. Interference is declined and the writ petition is dismissed.
