JUDGMENT

The petitioner, the owner of stage carriage No.KL 4/R 7954 applied for temporary permit on the route Kottiyam - Ayoor in the vacancy of stage carriage No.KL 2/V 4230. The petitioner has approached this Court with a prayer to direct the respondent to grant and issue temporary permit to the petitioner's stage carriage No.KL 4/R 7954 on the route Kottiyam - Ayoor in the vacant timings of stage carriage bearing No.KL 2/V 4230.

2. If the vacancy of stage carriage bearing No.KL 2/V 4230. is in existence with the timings of the expired permit then, temporary permit shall be issued for a period of four months, within a week, otherwise, there will be a direction to the respondent to

WP(C).1218/15 consider issuance of temporary permit after making necessary enquiry, within three weeks from the date of production of a copy of this judgment by passing appropriate orders on Ext.P1. Needless to say, such issuance of temporary permit will be subject to the preferential claim, if any.

Writ petition is disposed of as above.
