Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned State Attorney.

2.

By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to render adequate and necessary police protection for his life and property. According to the petitioner, his son, who is living separately, is carrying on chit fund business. It is the case of the petitioner that certain persons are coming to his house and threatening him asking about the whereabouts of his son. Petitioner submits that he had filed a complaint Ext.P2 dated 30/12/2014 in this regard, but no action has been taken. 3.

Learned State Attorney submits that no such complaint at Ext.P2 has been received at the police station.

4.

In that view of the matter, we are of the view that it is open for the petitioner to file a fresh complaint before the 2nd respondent who shall look into the same. With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of.
