JUDGMENT

Petitioner is a worker under the Kerala State Beverages Corporation, the 2nd respondent herein, who complained of the working hours in the various foreign liquor outlets of the 2nd respondent. In fact, the learned Standing counsel for the Beverages Corporation produced before this Court a judgment in a public interest litigation, which was initiated suo motu, on the basis of a complaint of certain employees. The issue was considered in W.P.(C).25907 of 2012 and found that there is no hardship caused on the basis of the facts placed before the Division Bench. In such circumstance, the issue is covered by the

WP(C).1410/15 decision of the Division Bench judgment in W.P.(C).25907 of 2012 dated 16.09.2014.

The writ petition is hence, closed.

However, the closure of the writ petition will not stand in the way of the representation being considered by the respondent Corporation and the Government.
