Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Senior Government Pleader as well as the learned counsel for respondents 3 and 4.

Respondents 3 and 4 are the wife and son of the petitioner. The petitioner, by this writ petition, has sought for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection as against the threat from respondents 3 and 4. An incident dated 9.1.2014 was also referred to in the writ petition, against which, a crime has also been registered. A petition for divorce has also been filed by the 3rd respondent, which is pending before the Family Court, Kottayam. 3.
Learned Government Pleader submits that apart from the incident dated 9.1.2014, no further incident has been reported so far. It is submitted that as on date, there is no threat or any law and order situation as alleged by the petitioner.
