JUDGMENT
The petitioner was a participant in 'Dafmuttu' competition held recently in the Alappuzha Revenue District School Kalolsavam. According to the petitioner, though the petitioner's team performed well, after evaluation they were awarded only 3rd prize with A Grade, which according to the petitioner is not correct and hence an appeal was preferred, referring to defects on the stage. But the appeal was dismissed, as borne by Ext. P2, which in turn is under challenge in this writ petition.
2. Heard the learned Government Pleader as well, who submits that there is absolutely no pith or substance in the averments raised in the writ petition. It is stated that there was no default on the stage, as contended by the petitioner, and even otherwise, it was equally applicable to all the participants. It is pointed out that the first prize winner got 244 marks, whereas the petitioner could secure only 230 marks and as such, there is a margin of 14 marks.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court finds that there is no tenable ground. Interference is declined and the writ petition is dismissed.
