J U D G M E N T
The petitioner who is facing proceedings under the Revenue Recovery Act had preferred Ext.P2 representation before the 1st respondent. The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the said representation, and to keep further steps against the petitioner under the Revenue Recovery Act in abeyance, in the meanwhile.
2. I have heard Sri.Mathew John, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as also Sri.Shyson P. Manguzha, the learned Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. On a consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made across the bar, I direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 representation, preferred by the petitioner against Ext.P1 notice issued to him under the Revenue Recovery Act. The 1st respondent shall pass orders, after hearing the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Further steps
under the Revenue Recovery Act, against the petitioner, shall be kept in abeyance till such time as orders are passed by the 1st respondent as directed, and communicated to the petitioner. A.K.JAYASANKARAN NAMBIAR JUDGE mns
