J U D G M E N T

This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take effective steps to prevent unlawful felling of trees from the land taken possession of from Ceiling Case No.TLB(SR) 484 - Talappally (LR6);

(ii) Order such other reliefs that are just and proper in the circumstances of the case.

2. Considering the nature of reliefs sought for, this Court is of the view that the matter has become infructuous. Issues are left open and if any further cause of action arises, the petitioner is free to challenge the same.
