JUDGMENT

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned State Attorney.

2. By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed for a mandamus directing the 3rd respondent not to intimidate or harass the petitioner in any manner. Allegations have been made that petitioner's vehicle was seized and in spite of the order to release, the same was released only on the next day evening. It is further alleged that he was threatened that he will be implicated in criminal cases. The petitioner in this context has also filed certain complaints to the Commissioner of Police, Thrissur.

3. Learned State Attorney submits that in regard to the allegation against police officers is concerned, it is open for the petitioner to file a complaint before higher authorities. Hence the writ petition on the said ground need not be entertained.

4. Petitioner, having already filed Exts.P3 and P4 representations, we see no reason to entertain this writ petition under Article 226. If so advised, petitioner may pursue his representations.
