J U D G M E N T

The petitioners have approached this Court with the following prayers:

"(a)Appropriate Writ order or direction to the respondents 1&2 to correct the right of the petitioners 1&2 respectively, as Jenmam instead of Verumbattam, over the property covered by Exhibit P1 & Exhibit P2.

(b) Appropriate Writ order or direction to the respondents 1&2 to pass orders correcting the right of the petitioners as Jenmam instead of Verumbattam, over the property covered by Exhibit P1 & Exhibit P2, in obedience to the application received and pending, evidenced by Exhibit P3 and Exhibit P3(a) receipts.

(c) Such other writ order or direction that this honourable Court deem fit to grant in the course of the proceedings."

Heard the learned Government Pleader as well. 3.

After hearing both the sides, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the concerned respondent to consider the application preferred by the petitioners for changing of their right to Jenmam, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and other interested parties, if any. It shall

W.P(C). No. 1843 of 2015 be done, at the earliest, at any rate within 'two months' from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. The petitioners shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the concerned respondent for further steps.
